Lis Grace (b. 1984, NY, NY) is an independent contemporary artist who blends surrealism, digital art, and illustration to create a visually permeable space in which she tells digital stories.

Playful to the eye, Lis's artwork is composed of photographs she has taken in different places-- from Australia to the Amazon to the Arctic-- and then mixed to create a new narrative. Fantastical, child-like imagery often coincides with a contradictorily darker subject matter. Past themes have included environmental preservation, feminism and mental health.

Lis's recent drawings focus on the contemporary female form as seen through an admirer's perspective. Lis is currently working on illustrations of super-models and "It Girls."

A born and raised New Yorker, Lis has degrees in Textile Development & Marketing, and Fashion Design, from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, NY.
